I have someone checking up on me online and it’s annoying, I have their IP address….?
Okay to put it bluntly, I have someone who basically watches over me. I know he has SBCglobal, and I’m trying to be 100% it is him checking my site everytime. But whenever he looks me up, his IP address is different? Why? See I use a locator and it says his ISP is:BRAS24.PLTNCA and then I think he looks it up again the next day and it says his ISP is:BRAS24.PLTNCA… but the IP address is different! Is it the same person, it says they both have SBCglobal… sorry I just really don’t understand! What does that ISP mean anyway? Please help I’d appreciate it
Okay, I’ll be honest, not necessarily watching over me, Just checking my myspace everyday… its my ex… I know where he lives, and the IP address always says its that location and that ISP it’s just the IP address itself is different… I know it’s a childish reason but I’m really curious
ISP = Internet Service Provider.
Its hard to say that it is him. but its possible since the IP address is different. but maybe he’s using a dynamic IP address.
You are being hacked, and this person is just covering up their tracks. It’s not unorthodox for some hackers to have over 200 IPs. Why they would want to be checking you out from south america is another thing, you better start defending yourself.

Not sure how you know this person is looking at you or if you even know its the same person every time. Some ISP change IPs ever few min or every time you log on . IF you dont
want him or her to look into your comp just add a firewall like Zonealarm ..then he cant . Anyways unless hes A super programer its inpossible to get into your comp all he maybe able to see is how often your online . DOnt listlen to this duchebag in the 1st reply it been proven 10000x that 99% of SO CALLED hackers can not do anything to your comp unless you peronaly add a program to open and share stuff. Run Spybot serch and destroy and a good anti virus and add Zonealarm and dont worry about crap like that .

Dial-up lines use a pool of IP address, which may number in the thousands.
Watching over you? So someone living thousands of miles away visits your site every day and they’re "watching over you"?
If that’s true, I’ve been watching over Google for years.

Well, to start with, ISP means "Internet Service Provider".
If this person uses a "Dial-Up" Internet Service Provider, the I.P. address would be different every time he logs on.
Or it could mean that he is logging on to his ISP from different computers. Like at work? or the public library? or different friends’ computers?
Some Internet Service Providers (ISPs) will give a different I.P. address each time that he logs on.
I hope that this person is your Father, Husband, Big Brother. or some other well-meaning person, and not an ex-boyfriend or something like that .
What do you mean that he is "Watching Over You"?
Do you have a web site?
Or are your talking about something like MySpace?
You know, you CAN file a complaint if you feel you are being harassed or intimidated!
I wish you the best of luck!
Be SAFE!
I hope this helps!
