If you watched the video you would see that the device gets its position via GPS and then transmits via cellular. I don’t see how you can recommend anything when you don’t understand the technology.

this system uses cell phone technology ..it has very poor accuracy. I would not recommend ANY of this companies products. Their are much more effective GPS tracking systems on the market

Geofence at the 1:52 mark looks interesting. Perhaps text message receipts can turn a cell phone back on/off when leaving/entering cell phone prohibited areas: “Locale” of Google App contest might have been in part based on such idea.
