TWC – Local Forecast, Hurricane Gustav/Storm Alert Theme ‘05

An LF from Orlando. Featuring the Storm Alert Theme from 2005 as Hurricane Gustav makes landfall in Louisiana. Gustav can also be seen making landfall from Radar Satellite. Hurricane Hannah also makes an appearance at the bottom corner of the screen.

    once I had that in our area, all week, the DirecTV said thunderstorm possibility, 30-40 percent. and today, the highest ever;100%!

    Omg! That is amazing that I can see with my own eyes that there are like a week worth of Scattered Thunder Storms. And I don’t even get weather like that. But I know that there are more storms in your area by how the pattern is with the precipitation.

  8. Yea, surprisingly …
    Yea, surprisingly there are only a few markets who have this narration, especially newer ones. However, this Intellistar at one time did have a Traffic Overview map. Like Houston, it didn’t have the Traffic Incident narration but rather the traffic map narrations, (just as you see it on your Intellistar now.) It wasn’t until the Traffic Overview map in Orlando was disabled when the “Incidents and construction impacting our area” narration took place.

    Actually, it’s used to keep record and identify IntelliStar units from your cable company & or other carriers.

    Oh how much I LOVED hearing this on the LF when Ike was roaring towards.I love the song, just a reminder of a bad storm that knocks your power, Also Ive never heard Allen Jackson say: ” Incidents and construction impacting our area” and even we have traffic reports (for Houston)

    its for local forecasts on the internet. if you cant type the city you want, type in that code and you’ll get that city.

    What is the “Local Weather ID” for? It is displayed at the beginning of the Local Forecast.
